Role play is an incredibly helpful tool for anyone who interacts with other people (which is essentially everyone, except for the hermit or person isolated on a desert island). Personal training is DEFINITELY a career where you are faced with questions that challenge your credibility and expertise with a client (or potential client). Whether you just finished your first personal training certification course or you’re an industry veteran with over a decade of experience you are viewed as an “expert” in exercise and fitness and people come to you for advice. In that moment you have an opportunity to help someone and show your expertise. Unfortunately, without practice, it could become a missed opportunity if you don’t deliver the information properly, draw a blank or say nothing at all.
