The Fitness Insight podcast brings together personal trainers and fitness professionals from around the globe to share their thoughts on everything fitness, wellness, and exercise. Unlike traditional fitness shows or podcasts, where the focus is on workout programs and exercise tips, Fitness Insight is essentially an open conversation between fitness professionals about what we do in the fitness industry … the good, the bad, and the ugly!
Listeners can expect an open and honest representation of what it’s like to be a fitness professional in today’s industry. Think of this as a get together of fitness professionals and personal trainers for coffee at the end of a long day. The conversation is about their joys, their fears, their concerns, and the little things that made them fall in love with their career in the first place!

The People Behind the Voices
Jamie is the Founder and Owner of Bonza Bodies Fitness in Denver, Colorado (www.bonzabodies.com). He sees the concept of instructor led exercise (be it one-to-one or in larger groups) as an opportunity to empower people to take charge of what they can control and to encourage them to search for their maximum potential (in whatever arena that may be). He believes that workouts should always meet the client where they are at in the moment and that a true fitness professional should always be ready with an ever growing toolkit of strategies to help in whatever way possible to get the client to reach their short term goals while inspiring them to long term goals.
Pharoah has been involved in Denver’s most established fitness clubs, including the Colorado Athletic Club and (now) Pura Vida Fitness and Spa (www.puravidaclub.com). As an eternal “student” in the fitness industry he continues to expand his knowledge with numerous certifications under his belt, in an effort to provide the best solutions for his loyal clients. He is a walking example of what he preaches about fitness, health, and nutrition and inspires his clients and colleagues reach their potential through health and fitness.
With two decades of experience in the fitness industry, Andrea has become a “Jane of all trades” by taking her University degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics and working her way from an entry level fitness instructor to consulting fitness education organizations, fitness equipment manufacturers, and innovative technology-driven companies throughout the industry. She currently owns ECHO Interactive Training, a sports-specific training and testing facility and the authority website, TodaysFitnessTrainer.com. She is also a published author and presenter, and hosts several health and fitness podcasts.
