What is Functional Training?
One of the big “buzz words” in fitness right now is … functional training. But the majority of people aren’t quite sure exactly what it means (including a lot of personal trainers and fitness professionals). What is the difference between traditional resistance training and functional training? When do you use functional training? Is functional training safe and what would this type of workout look like? Why don’t more personal trainers use it in their programs and workouts?
